In Belgium, the operators of the electricity grid, known as grid operators, are responsible for the transport and distribution of electricity. The main network operators in Belgium are:
- Elia: Elia is the transmission system operator (TSO) for high voltage in Belgium. They are responsible for the transport of electricity over long distances and for connections to the electricity grids of neighboring countries.
