Integrations with the Smart Grid Controller

The smart grid controller is a smart link between all your energy devices that takes your preferences into account so that you automatically save maximum energy. It is a personal energy manager for your home or business that takes actions such as real-time adjustments based on renewable energy (e.g. PV or wind), dynamic control of charging stations, battery systems, heat pumps and other energy-consuming devices.

Load management, also referred to as load balancing or load shifting, involves actively controlling the electricity consumption of devices by selectively switching them on/off or regulating their power usage. The objective is to stay within the designated grid connection capacity of a site and optimally distribute the available electricity among all the devices. By implementing load management, grid costs can be made more transparent and minimized. There are two main types of load management: static and dynamic. Load management plays a significant role in managing the electricity demand of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, which consumes a substantial amount of power. It also allows for individual prioritization, such as customized EV charging strategies.
