Verify that the data arrives at the server

1. Log in to the server with the FTP credentials configured on the device. You can use a free program such as FileZilla client for this

2. The folder you end up in will contain a whole series of subfolders. These correspond to the folders on the right under "FTP server" in the screenshot above. If these folders do not exist, the device has definitely not sent any transducer measurements.

3. Navigate to the DATA folder and the INV subfolder. If the INV folder does not exist, the device will definitely not send any transducer measurements. See if there are any files in this folder with the ".tar.gz" extension, as shown in the screenshot below. If there are no such files, look in the subfolder "Historic" (under INV, as in the screenshot), and in its subfolder processedFiles. If these folders do not exist, or they exist and are empty, then the device will definitely not send any inverter measurements.

4. Verify if there is a file whose name matches a recent time. The file names all end with a series of characters of the form "_YYMMDD_HHmmss.csv.gz". For example, a file named "WD00B09B_INV_1_1_230703_100054.csv.gz" corresponds to 2023-07-03 (July 3, 2023) at 10:00:54. If there is no recent file, the device will definitely not send any inverter measurements.

5. Put this file on your local computer (via a drag-and-drop system in FileZilla). The ".gz

" in the file name indicates that this is a compressed file. To open the file we have to decompress it first, which can be done with a tool like 7-Zip

5. Open the resulting csv file, as shown in the screenshot below. Verify that the device is sending non-zero data. If the file corresponds to a time at which the installation is active, and yet only contains zeros, then the inverters are not read correctly. Non-zero data typically indicates correct configuration.
