Solar Monitoring - Scenarios
Situation A - Reprogramming existing logger
1) There is internet via a network cable with RJ45 connector (normal type) to the location of the logger present.
2) All inverters are already interconnected in daisy chain with a modbus cable and have a modbus network card. The modbus cable is extended to the existing logger.
3) The inverters all have a unique modbus address and must all be of the same brand.
4) The logger is working and the inverters have already been registered by the logger.
Eg. data push via Huawei Smartlogger, SMA EnnexOs logger, Sungrow Datalogger, ...
Situation B - Solar Gateway installation
1) There is internet via a network cable with RJ45 connector (normal type) to the location of the logger present.
2) All inverters are already interconnected in daisy chain with a modbus cable and have a modbus network card. The modbus cable is extended to the existing logger.
3) The inverters all have a unique modbus address and must all be of the same brand.
4) The logger is not working or is missing
5) There is a socket or power strip near the existing logger (<1m).
Additionally
• If the internet connection is missing, we can install a 4G router
• Repair modbus cable
• Supply of network cards for the inverters (modbus card)
• Check internet connection
• Check inverters (e.g. baud rate is not correct, modbus wiring is wrong, ...)
• Placing the socket
• Connecting different brands of inverters to one gateway.
• Extra material such as socket & cables
